Showcase Sunday (33)

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits, and Tea, where we showcase what books we've gotten over the course of the week, whether it be from a book store, bought for your eReader, received from the library, or from the publishers for review.

For Review:

Undercurrent: Ever since I read Pivot Point I've been looking for more parallel reality reads, and this one has gotten really good reviews so far, so I'm looking forward to it! It sounds intense. Thanks, HarperTeen!

Blackout: This one sounds awesome, and I've heard great things about the author's Variant books, so I can't wait to read this! I hope to get to it really soon. Thanks, HarperTeen!

What I read this week:

Transparent by Natalie Whipple, 1.5 stars

Ugh, this one was such a disappointment, you guys. Boring, with awful writing and an awful main character. I'm not a fan. At all. Review to come 4/19. (Warning: it's long and ranty.)

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo, currently reading

AH, THIS IS SO AWESOME, YOU GUYS. It has ice dragons! And The Darkling! And Mal! And Sturmhond! And ICE. DRAGONS. Ah! Review (estimated) to come 5/3.

What did you get this week?
