Showcase Sunday (27)

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicki at Books, Biscuits, and Tea, where we showcase what books we've gotten over the course of the week, whether it be from a book store, bought for your eReader, received from the library, or from the publishers for review.

Okay, guys, same drill as last week, not because I'm lazy (today), but I got a lot of books this week and I don't think any of you would like to read an essay about what I think of them. You'll probably still be reading the same amount of words with this new method, but at least it's not all clumped together in one paragraph. (This is how I think, people.)

Revel: I started this one yesterday (currently writing this on Friday), and I'm already halfway through. I'm loving this one quite a bit, it's very fun and original! By the time you're reading this I'll definitely be finished, so I hope to have a review up tomorrow. (EDIT: Yup. Review will be up tomorrow. Loved it.)

Indigo: This one sounds really interesting, and I think the author's debut got good reviews when it was released last October, so I'm looking forward to this. It's released in October, though, so it may be a while.

Belle Epoque: This one sounds interesting, too, and not really something many YA novels are about. I'm pretty sure this one is released in June, so it may be a few months before I get to it, but I'm looking forward to reading it!

Insomnia: Eeeeeek! I can't wait to start this one, guys! It sounds so awesome. I may have to crack and read it soon, even if it's released in June.

The Summer Prince: All I know about this one is that it's set in a dystopian Brazil, so that sounds interesting.

The Beautiful and the Cursed: Apparently this one is about ghosts and gargoyles, so I'm in. As long as it's not reminiscent Hereafter, this should be fun.

Dualed: I've heard really mixed things about this one, so I might pass on it altogether, but if I do decide to give it a shot, it'll probably be my next read as an ARC. We'll see.

Far Far Away: I got this one a couple of weeks ago, so I'm going to give one of my ARCs away (giveaway is probably going to be posted tomorrow, which for you is yesterday, because I'm writing this on Friday. That's confusing.) (ETA: giveaway here.)

Etiquette and Espionage: I've heard mostly good things about this one, and have heard nothing but good things about the author's Parasol Protectorate series, so I can't wait to start this one! Steampunk doesn't always go over well with me, but I think this'll be an exception.

The Ruining: Mental illness novels fascinate me, and this one got positive reviews from the awesome Amy and also awesome Giselle, so I think I'll like this one quite a bit.

City of A Thousand Dolls: Started this one on Tuesday and liked what I read. I'm about 100 pages in and put it aside to start Revel, but I should get back to it soon. The sexism is a bit overwhelming in this, though.

What did you get this week?
