If you haven't heard of Cynthia Hand, there's something wrong with you. SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY WRONG WITH YOU. Her Unearthly series is hands down best angel series ever read and that says A LOT because I've read countless angel books.
Anyway, I've been really nervous about the release of The Last Time We Say Goodbye because it's rather different in most aspects to the Unearthly series. Genre change, being one of the obvious ones. But I absolutely love gritty and emotionally draining reads so this is practically singing my name. Also, it's Cynthia Hand. PLEASE DON'T LET MY EXPECTATIONS BE DISAPPOINTED.
Also, veeeeery interesting cover. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. On one hand, never really seen something like it before but then again I don't think I'd pick it up at the bookstore if I never heard of the author. Well that's just me.

I've been waiting for this one too, that cover just draws me in somehow! And I love the title!
ReplyDeleteI am anxiously waiting on this one too Mel. :) The premise sounds absolutely wonderful and heart-breaking, and though I've never read any of Cynthia's books myself, I've heard so many good things about her work that makes me want to give this a try. :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a good book! I saw something about it on Goodreads a while ago, and can't wait to read it. They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but this one is so intriguing it makes me want to read it even more!
